The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced an upcoming overpass maintenance project in Boone County.
Maintenance work on KY 14, also known as Verona Mudlick Road, overpass at Interstate 71 will begin Monday, July 7, according to a KYTC news release.
Crews from KYTC District 6 will be on site weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. performing routine maintenance.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane, and temporary traffic signals will be installed at both ends of the work zone. The lane closure and signals will remain in place around the clock until the work is completed.
The project is expected to wrap up by Friday, July 25, weather permitting.
