CSX Transportation will perform repairs at several railroad crossings in Boone County in April, according to a recent announcement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The repairs will cause temporary closures, which the cabinet estimates should take two to four days each. Signs and message boards will advise drivers on detours. According to the cabinet, “Work is scheduled to take place Tuesday through Friday, though dates are subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen factors. “

Week of April 15
- Main Street (U.S. 25) in Walton at the 1 mile point
Week of April 22
- Glencoe-Verona Road (KY 16) between the 2.1 and 2.2 mile points
- Lebanon-Crittenden Road (KY 491) between the 2.4 and 2.5 mile points
Week of April 29
- Main Street (U.S. 25) in Walton at the 1 mile point
