Crescent Springs is awaiting grant funding from the National Park Services for renovations to Lou Hartfiel Memorial Park. The city has also applied for a Cabinet for Economic Development grant to cover 85% of the renovation costs. Kenton County Fiscal Court: Tuesday, Oct. 29

Kenton County in Kentucky is running out of developable land, and leaders have agreed to continue with a plan to prepare land in the southwest of the county for light manufacturing development. The Kenton County Site Readiness Initiative aims to create an inventory of readily available sites for purchase and development to reduce uncertainty for manufacturing prospects. The initiative is multigenerational and could take decades to fully realize. The next step is to present it to the Kenton County Planning Commission at its next meeting in December.
