Thomas More University has been ranked among the country’s best colleges in an annual list produced by The Wall Street Journal.

Made in conjunction with the paper’s research partners, Statista and College Pulse, the list ranked Thomas More as 251 out of 500 of the country’s higher education institutions. The list ranked Thomas More high in the categories of best salaries at rank 88 and social mobility at a rank of 104.

The social mobility metric measures the degree to which an institution takes in students from low-income households while also maintaining high graduation rates– Thomas More scored the highest in the NKY and Greater Cincinnati regions and the second-highest in Kentucky for social mobility.

“The value of a Thomas More education is being recognized for not only what occurs in the classroom, but the ROI it brings to our graduates as they enter their careers,” said Thomas More University President Joseph L. Chillo in a press release. “The ability to align the values of a strong, Catholic liberal arts education with salaries after graduation demonstrates that employers throughout the region and nationally are seeking our graduates because of their knowledge and ability to make an impact in their profession.”
