The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky, also known as TANK, is rolling out a new flexible, on-demand way to get around town.

Instead of fixed bus routes, TANK said Mircotransit would use smaller vehicles like minibusses that you can call up when you need a ride, either through a phone app or a call center.

TANK also said Microtransit helps them reach places that regular buses might miss, making it easier for users to get around, especially in areas where buses don’t usually go.

TANK is holding three public meetings at the following locations for public input:

Covington at the Kenton County Public Library at 502 Scott St. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Cold Spring at the Campbell County Public Library at 3920 Alexandria Pike on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Florence at the Boone County Public Library at 7425 US 42 on Thursday, Feb. 8, noon to 2 p.m.
Those who can’t attend a public meeting can take the survey here.
