The City of Villa Hills received a 2023 Workers’ Compensation Safety Grant from the Kentucky League of Cities, according to a recent announcement.

The League of Cities Insurance Services workers’ compensation members receive the money to help fund various programs and services that reduce liability and make the city safer.

The group has been awarded more than $6.3 million in liability and safety grants since 1999.

“We are pleased to help our members improve the quality of life for the people who live and work in their city,” said James D. Chaney, the executive director of the Kentucky League of Cities. “I am certain Villa Hills city officials will use these funds to continue to keep their community safe.”
