Bobby Mackey’s Music World, a country music venue in Wilder, is celebrating its 45th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 9, beginning at 7 p.m.
Called “45 Years at America’s Honky Tonk,” the event features live music, mechanical bull rides, line dancing, karaoke and even ghost tours of the venue, which touts itself as “the most haunted nightclub in America.”
Country musician Bobby Mackey owns and operates the bar, which was established in 1978. Mackey and his “Best Damn Band” play regularly at the club.
