Covington’s newest apartment community is the John R. Green Lofts in MainStrasse Village. Resident Valarie Bender first viewed the building during a hard hat tour before it was complete and “fell in love with it.”

Bender said one of the best parts of living at JRG is the amenities, one of which is the location.
“There’s always something new and fun to do” in MainStrasse, she said.
Bender said she never gets in her car because everything she needs is within walking distance.
The apartments allow tenants to escape to the outdoors with a rooftop deck, which has hammocks, sofas, grills, and fire pits for resident use. The building is also a short walk to Goebel Park, which Bender said she takes advantage of for reading and picnics.

JRG has twenty different floorplans with premium finishes throughout the development.

The street level of the building houses three locally owned businesses, including Handzy, which carries women’s clothing, paper goods designed by the owners, and other lifestyle items. Gumdrop, a “shop for tots,” and Neighborhood Barre provide judgment-free workout classes.
