The Northern Kentucky Area Development District has a new board of directors.
The installation occurred on Sept. 10.
The AD District is a statutorily created nonprofit that provides various public services for Kentucky’s eight northernmost counties. Services include workforce development, aging and disability services and financial management, among other services. The state has 15 area development districts, and their role in providing services and serving as fiscal agents for local organizations makes them influential institutions in the commonwealth.
The new board members will occupy their roles for the coming year. Each one serves on the board in an at-large capacity, meaning they represent everyone in the AD District’s eight-county service area. The votes to place the members occurred in July, but the process of actually installing them in their positions did not occur until this month.
The new directors and their corresponding roles and counties are listed below:
- Chair Robb Adams, mayor of Carrollton, Carroll County
- First Vice Chair Jon “Ryan” Morris, judge/executive of Gallatin County
- Second Vice Chair David Henson, mayor of Williamstown, Grant County
- Treasurer Brittaney King, citizen member, Kenton County
- Gary Moore, previous board chair and judge/executive of Boone County
- Executive Committee Member Matt Elberfeld, Campbell County
- Executive Committee Member Todd Woodyard, judge/executive of Owen County
- Executive Committee Member David Fields, judge/executive of Pendleton County
