A Florence burger and wings joint is permanently closing after struggling to rebound since the pandemic.
Quaker Steak & Lube’s last day in business is Tuesday, Jan. 23, the restaurant announced in a Facebook post. The restaurant is located at 8025 Action Blvd., sandwiched between the Florence Mall and I-71. The location first opened in 2012.
“The final decision to close has truly been a heart-wrenching one, as we are aware of the profound impact it will have on you,” read the post.
Quaker Steak & Lube is a national chain with 32 other locations in 10 states. Their Florence location is their only spot in Kentucky. They have two other locations in the Greater Cincinnati area: one in Milford and another in Colerain.
