16 Lots Southern Outpost at Newport on the Levee may close next week after less than a year of service.
The taproom and kitchen announced the possibility on Facebook Friday, writing that “this could be our last week.” However, the post goes on to say that “we’re hoping not – a few irons are still in the fire.”
The kitchen is closing after this Sunday, and after that, the post says, “Beer and bar, next! If next week is our last hurrah, we need to run it all dry – we’ll be open nightly to “kill the kegs” and bottles.”
This Newport location of the Mason-based brewery 16 Lots opened at the Levee in May of 2023.
Southern Outpost is located at 1 Levee Way in Newport.
