Sportsman’s Warehouse and Kenton County Parks & Recreation are teaming up to help maintain the terrain at Doe Run Lake, as part of the Ohio River Sweep with ORSANCO & FORE. This annual Doe Run Lake Clean-Up will be held on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to noon.
You are invited to join the efforts while paddling the lake or hiking the trails. Bring your kayak or hiking shoes and enjoy the park while preserving nature.
Garbage bags, gloves and waste removal will be provided.
Volunteers are asked to register by March 25 through the online registration system.
Need community service hours? Paperwork will be signed at the clean-up.
Doe Run Lake is located at 1501 Bullock Pen Rd., Covington, KY 41017. Volunteers should meet in the parking area near the boat launch. For additional information, call 859-525-PLAY (7529).
