Campbell County football coach Brian Weinrich has informed the school he is retiring from coaching.
Weinrich coached the Camels the last four seasons, guiding them to a 12-32 record.
Weinrich spent the 2021 season as the head coach at Newport. Prior to that he led his alma mater Highlands to their last state championship in 2014. He coached at Highlands for seven seasons as the head coach and was an assistant on Dale Mueller’s staff from 1995-2013.
