Northern Kentucky University, known as NKU, earned the top spot in registerednursing.org‘s ‘ Best Online Master of Science in Nursing Programs in Kentucky’ ranking.
The university offers online master’s degrees for family nurse practitioners, mental health nurse practitioners, adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioners psych-mental health nurse practitioners, and nursing education concentration.
Registernursing.org said NKU’s online programs are designed to promote evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, leadership development and to prepare graduates for patient-centered care in a variety of healthcare settings.
Registernursing.org’s criteria are based on program quality, accessibility, and student success. NKU’s program beat out those offered by Kentucky Christian University and Frontier Nursing University.
