The Newport Fire Department welcomed two new members and promoted another at the Newport Commission meeting on Oct. 21.
The Newport Commission approved the appointment of firefighter/medic Colton Lange and firefighter/medic Jeremy Daugherty.
They also approved the promotion of firefighter/medic Justin Hubbard to the position of engineer/medic.
