The deadline to register to vote for the upcoming general election on Tuesday, Nov. 5 is today, Oct. 7, at 4 p.m.
The election includes numerous local races as well as the U.S. presidential race, and voters have until 4 p.m. to register electronically or post mark their paper registrations.
To register to vote in Kentucky or update an existing registration, go to vrsws.sos.ky.gov/ovrweb. Once you’ve registered electronically, your county clerk will verify your registration and then mail you a confirmation with a registration card containing your precinct and polling place information.
Alternatively, you can download a paper registration application (here) and mail it to your county clerk or register in person at a local election office.
