The Cold Spring Police Department is offering a bicycle safety course for kids on Wednesdays in July.
Participants will be able to go through obstacle courses designed to improve their riding skills and safety.
The events are set for 6 – 7 p.m. on the following dates:
- July 3: Friendship Park, 5589 E. Alexandria Pike
- July 10: Sunshine Park, Granite Spring Drive/ Sandstone Ride in the Granite Springs and Founders Court subdivision.
- July 17: Patriot Park, located on Ridgepointe Drive in the Glenridge subdivision.
- July 24: Municipal Park, 5694 E. Alexandria Pike near the Amphitheater.
Participants need:
- Bicycle
- Secure footwear
- Helmet
- Parent/guardian
No sign-up is required.
