The Cold Spring Police Department is offering a bicycle safety course for kids on Wednesdays in July. Â
Participants will be able to go through obstacle courses designed to improve their riding skills and safety.
The events are set for 6 – 7 p.m. on the following dates:
- July 3: Friendship Park, 5589 E. Alexandria Pike
- July 10: Sunshine Park, Granite Spring Drive/ Sandstone Ride in the Granite Springs and Founders Court subdivision.
- July 17: Patriot Park, located on Ridgepointe Drive in the Glenridge subdivision.
- July 24: Municipal Park, 5694 E. Alexandria Pike near the Amphitheater. Â
Participants need:
- Bicycle
- Secure footwear
- Helmet
- Parent/guardian
