Fire destroyed a home in a Villa Hills neighborhood overnight Friday.
It may have been caused by a lightning strike.
Multiple fire departments from surrounding communities responded to the 900 block of Northoak Drive just before 3 a.m. Friday to find the home completely engulfed in flames.

It appears to be a total loss.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
One media report indicated that the family is out of town.
