The annual Backpacks & Breakfast event was held Saturday morning at Goebel Park in Covington.
 
More than 1,000 local students were provided backpacks with school supplies.
 
Northern Kentucky Harvest hosts the event each year for students from Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties.
 
For the eighteenth straight year, Frisch’s provided breakfast for attendees.
