Northern Kentucky and Louisville dominated the top 25 of Niche.com’s 2016 Best Suburbs To Live. Nine northern Kentucky cities were ranked by the website in the top 25, with Fort Mitchell headlining the group at number three.

Fort Thomas checked in at number seven, one spot up from last year’s number eight ranking.

The new rankings collect data based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities. Data comes from the U.S. Census, FBI and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among other sources.
