Additionally, Covington Catholic Junior/Senior Counselor Ms. Jessica Brown was recently selected as the 12th “Albert Anderson Outstanding Counseling Student of the Year” recipient at Xavier University. The award is named after Albert Anderson, a former school counselor who taught for over 50 years for Xavier University’s School Counseling Program.
“Each year, counseling faculty nominate, discuss, and vote on the most outstanding student,” said Dr. Brent Richardson, Chair of the Xavier School of Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Graduate Programs. “While there were lots of deserving candidates, Jessica was the unanimous choice by the faculty due to her diligence as a graduate student and her obvious commitment to her own students.”
Covington Catholic High School is a Blue Ribbon of Excellence award winning college preparatory high school within the Diocese of Covington. It is an all-male school of 600 whose mission is to embrace the Gospel message of Jesus Christ in order to educate students spiritually, academically, physically and socially.
