Seven people were displaced after a late night fire in Wallace Woods on Tuesday.
40 firefighters and EMTs from Covington, Newport, and Ft. Wright responded to the 2000 block of Mackoy Street. 2017 Mackoy, a vacant property, was destroyed. 2015 and 2019 Mackoy suffered damage.Â
Seven residents are being assisted by the Red Cross until their homes can be inhabited again.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire was still being investigated on Wednesday morning.
