The witches of Macbeth the fairies of A Midsummer Night’s Dream – they’ll be cavorting in area parks throughout the month of August as Cincinnati Shakespeare Company presents its annual FREE Shakespeare in the Park tour.
The Shakespeare favorites are both getting mini-versions (six actors) that will spend the academic year touring to schools, community centers and other performing arts venues across these shows will travel and tour to local schools, community centers, venues and other performing arts locations through May 2015.
Here’s a schedule of Kentucky and Downtown Cincinnati performances. All performances are at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Macbeth: Aug. 10, 6 p.m., Washington Park, Over-the-Rhine; Aug. 14, Smale Riverfront Park, Cincinnati; Aug. 19, Presidents Park, Edgewood; Aug. 20, Mason County Library Amphitheatre, Maysville; Aug. 29, Seasongood Pavilion, Eden Park, Cincinnati.
