The Holmes Bulldogs got their eighteenth win of the year in a rout of Scott at home.
The Eagles actually led at the end of the first quarter, 18-17, but Holmes ran away with the game after that, leading 41-30 at the half and then outscoring Scott 48-19 the rest of the way.
Junior guard James Bolden led all scorers with 28 points, including five three pointers. Markel McClendon and Quinton Chames each put in a dozen points for the Bulldogs.
Jake Ohmer led the Eagles with 10.
Holmes busted loose with some sharp shooting, hitting 60% of their shots.
Scott only mustered 25% shooting.
Holmes is now 18-3 while Scott falls to 5-17 on the year.
