Beechwood 63, Walton-Verona 7

The Tigers (6-0) got two rushing touchdowns from Tyler Fryman and an interception return for a score in Friday’s district bout in Fort Mitchell.

Fryman’s three touchdowns give him 64 for his career, putting him top five all-time in program history behind Cam Vocke (85), Brandon Berger (73), Chase Flaherty (72) and Logan Cattleman (70).

Another Tiger broke into the top five all-time in a different stat as Emmett Queen’s two first half touchdown passes gave him 52 in his 19-game career at Beechwood.

Nathan Pabst added a first half touchdown on a 35-yard grab.

Andrew Lynn got Walton-Verona (4-2) on the board right before the half on a four-yard run. The loss ended the Bearcats four-game winning streak as they look to win their next three games and secure a home playoff game. Next up is Gallatin County at home.

Beechwood looks to go 7-0 at St. Henry next week.

Conner 55, Boone County 14
