NEWPORT – Alexandria
business executive Kevin Sell is filing his papers with the county clerk on
November 21 for Campbell County Judge-Executive in the 2014 election.

“In 2014,
we will win this race and take our county to a new level of economic growth and
re
spect for the taxpayer”, Sell said late on Wednesday.

Sell is a Vice President at
United Group Services, Inc. and a retired Captain (Battalion Chief) of the
Airport Fire Department.  He recently completed a one year term as the
Republican Party’s chairman for the 4th Congressional District. Kevin also
held this position from 2006-2009.

“My economic development
plan will provide more jobs and a higher quality of life for Campbell
County.  We are the smallest county of the three in Northern Kentucky and
have the highest unemployment.  That must end.”

“We need good conservatives
on regional taxing authority boards like TANK and SD1.  Many of Campbell
County’s citizens are ready to join with me and provide oversight so that we
can serve the taxpayers and not just the government,”
Sell said.

In addition to job
creation, Sell said that he intends to immediately take action to rid Campbell
County of heroin.

“In 2010 we had 5 heroin
overdose deaths in the county.  In the first 6 months of 2012 we already
had 14 overdose deaths.  In addition to the cost of life, this problem is
a financial cost to the county and our cities in a variety of ways.”
said Sell.  “I will make it a priority on my first
day as Judge to create a compreh
ensive approach to dealing
with this menace and the toll it is taking on local families and businesses.”

Sell is a lifelong resident
of Campbell County, where he lives with his wife and two sons.
