Maifest

The 34th annual Maifest kicks off Friday evening in Covington’s Mainstrasse Village. Food, drink, booths, rides, and lots of live music — plus a Chalk Art contest and a NASA moon rock on display — Friday through Sunday. See the full listing of events, times, and more: The River City News

Latonia Block Sale

More than thirty yard sale vendors are signed up for the Block Sale in Latonia on Saturday. Proceeds benefit the Latonia Playground Project. The event is at Latonia Elementary School. Interested vendors can contact Rena Totten at 859.581.4878. The cost is $10 to have a slot in the sale. Admission is free. Food and drinks will be for sale. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

City of Covington Annual Fishing Derby

This annual event is at Prisoners Lake in Devou Park. Registration is at 9:00 a.m. with fishing from 10:00 a.m. – noon. For ages 5 – 15 with prizes and lunch. Bring your own poles and bait. For more information call 859.292.2151.
