The final filing deadline for Kenton County’s municipal elections has resulted in 122 candidates running in contested races, including city government seats in Erlanger, Covington, Independence, Bromley, Crescent Springs, Edgewood, Elsmere, Erlanger, Fort Wright, Independence, Lakeside Park, Ludlow, Park Hills, Taylor Mill, and school board seats in Beechwood Independent Public Schools and Covington Independent Public Schools.

Kenton County Planning Commission approves public review for Taylor Mill Firehouse
Kenton County Planning Commission approved a public facilities review for a new Taylor Mill fire house, which is slated to be constructed on roughly two acres of land on Taylor Mill Road. The house would be roughly 12,000 square feet, would have 9 off-street parking spaces and 23 existing shared spaces and would also feature space for truck maneuvering.
