Newport took down Beechwood on Tuesday night in Fort Mitchell, 66-50.
The Wildcats got revenge from the 9th Region All “A” championship game where the Tigers came out victorious.
Yamil Rondon led Newport with 26 points as he hit 10-of-13 shots from the field. James Turner added 12 points and six rebounds.
Jack Sullivan led Beechwood with 12 points, Carson Blackburn adding 10.
Newport outrebounded Beechwood 30-14 in the contest.
