The LINK nky Team of the Week for Nov. 27-Dec. 3 presented by Ortho Cincy is the Dixie Heights girls bowling team.
The Colonels took a closely contested battle with the Newport Central Catholic boys and girls bowling team with 60% of the vote and nearly 12,000 votes. NewCath finished with nearly 8,000 votes.
Earning Dixie Heights Team of the Week honors was their performance at the NKAC Division I bowling tournament.
DIXIE HEIGHTS GIRLS BOWLING
The Dixie Heights girls bowling team won the NKAC Division I bowling title at Bellewood Lanes on Dec. 2.
Members listed on the KHSAA roster are: Alyssa Bechtol, Jessica Bishop, Ava Cunningham, Bekah Edmonson, Rylee Phelps, Sarah Riggs-Augur and Abree Young.
Bechtol bowled a perfect 300 in Dixie Heights victory over Boone County earlier in the week.
