The NKY Chapter of Kentucky Public Retirees will meet Monday October 12th for a picnic instead of a regular meeting. Meeting time 11:30 a.m. at Tower Park 920 Cochran Avenue Fort Thomas, KY. (FORT) at shelter #2 by tennis courts. If rain or cold the picnic will be held in the Amory directly behind the tennis courts shelter #2. All members, spouses, and public are invited to attend. Everyone attending will be required to bring their own lunch and drink. No drinks or food provided.
Kentucky Public Retirees will be presenting a bill in 2027 legislative session for a 13th check or stipend. This is a short session and in near future all members will be asked to contact their legislator. More on this subject will be disgusted at November meeting.
Any member under 65 will be required to complete a new health insurance plan for 2027 before the end of October. If not completed no health insurance coverage for 2027. Members over 65 are not required to fill out a new application.

An application for membership can be downloaded from Kentucky Public Retiree website or attending a local chapter meeting. New members are free first year from month of joining to the end of that year. Yearly membership dues are $15 from January to December each year.
