Donate five, or more, school supplies at any Northern Kentucky Chick-fil-A Restaurant on Thursday, July 23rd, and receive a free Chicken Sandwich reward between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The 13th annual Chick-fil-A Stuff The Bus Challenge provides supplies to area schools. It demonstrates how Chick-fil-A consistently cares for its local communities in a fun engaging way that gives students a solid foundation for the school year.
Over the past 12 years nearly 70,000 school supplies have been donated. Last year alone, nearly 10,000 supplies were donated.
This “friendly competition” challenges Northern Kentucky area community members to donate the most supplies for their school district. The winning district will also receive an additional $250 resource reward from Chick-fil-A Northern Kentucky.
Fort Wright, Houston Road, Mall Road, Newport Pavilion and Union Promenade Chick-fil-A Restaurants are accepting donations for all school districts.

Bring any five requested school supplies to receive your free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich voucher. This year, schools and Chick-fil-A ask that the community only donate these requested items:

The Need:
The state of Kentucky has the 6th highest poverty rate in the country – and the three counties that make-up Northern Kentucky are no exception. Many families can’t afford back to school supplies for their children. Northern Kentucky Chick-fil-A® restaurants, in partnership with Northern Kentucky area school districts, created the “Stuff The Bus Challenge” a friendly competition to provide a fun, easy means for the community to donate school supplies.
“This event provides the majority of school supplies used by the Family Resource Centers for students use throughout the year. It has always been a tremendous help in meeting students’ needs,” said Mandy Munich, Family Resource Coordinator of Kenton County Schools.
“The Chick-fil-A Stuff the Bus Challenge is a great event that benefits our Northern Kentucky children. Not only have we received thousands of school supplies through this, we have also experienced the true generosity and compassion of our Northern Kentucky neighbors,” Jess Dykes, Public Information Officer, Kenton County School District.
