(CINCINNATI, OH) July 20th, 2026 – On Sunday, August 2, Dewey’s Pizza will host its 7th Annual Run to Raise Dough 5K, bringing communities together across the Midwest to raise funds for mental health charities. The Greater Cincinnati race begins and ends at the Dewey’s Pizza location in Oakley Square, followed by an after-party at the Geier Esplanade featuring family-friendly activities, music and Dewey’s specialty pizza. Additionally, Dewey’s is bringing back their virtual race option for the third year, allowing everyone to join the fun.
This year, Dewey’s aims to raise over $50,000 to support mental health initiatives in each of its six markets. All race proceeds will go towards Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center, 1N5 of Cincinnati, Huckleberry House of Columbus, NAMI of Greater Cleveland, Places For People of St. Louis, and Welcome House of Kansas City.
“The Run to Raise Dough 5K is the day that best reflects who we are as a company,” said Stephanie McCall, Marketing Director at Dewey’s Pizza. “Nourishing our community goes beyond serving great pizza. Race day is one of the most meaningful ways we live our purpose, bringing the DewCrew and our community together in support of mental health. We’re honored to partner with these incredible organizations and excited for another year of making a real impact together.”
The shotgun start is at 9 AM from Dewey’s parking lot. Both beginners and seasoned runners will wind through the streets of Oakley, ending back at Dewey’s Oakley location at 3014 Madison Road. The after-party, located at Geier Esplanade, runs until noon and features face painting, Dewey’s famous breakfast pizza the Morning Dew, local brews by Esoteric Brewing, tunes by DJ Kick Lee and more. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and 1N5.
“Dewey’s Run to Raise Dough is a wonderful event that strengthens awareness, support, and hope for a cause that deeply impacts our communities,” says Stacey Hoffman, LPCC, program director of Adapt for Life. “We’re incredibly thankful for Dewey’s ongoing dedication to improving children’s mental health.”
Participants will receive a complimentary race shirt, a one-of-a-kind pizza slice medal, a slice of Dewey’s pizza, and a choice of beverage (21+). All virtual runners will also receive a shirt, pizza medal, and race bib shipped directly to them. Early bird pricing is $35 for the Cincinnati 5K Run/Walk through July 22. Pricing increases after that date. Virtual 5K registration also offers early-bird pricing of $35 through July 22nd and closes on August 2.
