Smoke Justis is officially open every morning at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast and coffee service. Traci Gregg, former owner of Reality Tuesday Cafe in Park Hills, Kentucky, has joined the Smoke Justis team to manage and refine the morning experience at the restaurant.
Gregg, who will serve as the new Morning Hospitality Manager at Blue Tin by Smoke Justis, brings 26 years of industry experience to the role. She opened Reality Tuesday Cafe in 2000, which Gregg owned and operated until its closure earlier in 2026.
“Covington is missing a vital morning hub for business and celebration, and we are thrilled to bring Traci on board to help us fill that gap,” said Richard Dickmann, founder of Smoke Justis. “At Reality Tuesday, Traci didn’t just serve fantastic coffee; she built community. By blending her hospitality expertise with our cozy lounge space, we’re making Blue Tin by Smoke Justis a refined morning destination. We want to be the place where the business conversation begins over coffee and closes over bourbon.”
As part of the expanded menu, the restaurant partnered with Seven Hills Coffee Roasters to develop Blue Tin by Smoke Justis, a proprietary blend of organic, fair-trade coffee picked exclusively for the restaurant and named for the signature blue tin details in the building. Blue Tin blend is a bright, fruit-forward cup with notes of raspberry, peach, delicate florals and black tea.
“I am thrilled to join the team and help perfect our new coffee and breakfast service,” said Gregg. “I am so grateful for this next chapter. What we’re building here is a very refined and elevated experience. I can’t wait to welcome my regulars and show an entirely new community what we have pouring at Blue Tin.”
In addition to traditional coffee drinks, espresso offerings and cold brew coffee on tap, breakfast cocktails and an assortment of teas will also be offered. Some examples include chai tea that was offered at Reality Tuesday Café, which included vanilla and spiced chai. The proprietary Blue Tin coffee beans will also be available for sale.
The breakfast menu features fan-favorite skillets, with Smoke Justis’ signature smoked meats, alongside signature handheld options, including stuffed bagels.
Smoke Justis is now open from 6:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 6:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. While there are lounge areas and regular seating options available through Smoke Justis, larger meeting spaces are also available on the second floor to reserve at no extra fee for morning business needs. These include a boardroom for larger meetings and booths for smaller gatherings.
