Kentucky REALTORS® proudly presented the 2025 Kinman Award to Senator Julie Raque Adams in recognition of her commitment to housing policy and advocacy.
“I’m honored to receive the 2025 Jess and Carolyn Kinman Award from Kentucky REALTORS® in recognition of my legislative efforts in real estate,” Senator Adams said. “The lack of affordable housing across the state is a barrier for many Kentuckians who dream of homeownership. I deeply admire the work Kentucky REALTORS® do in communities throughout the Commonwealth to ensure more residents have access to quality, affordable housing — especially those in my home community of Louisville. Thank you for your support and commitment to strengthening Kentucky’s real estate market.”
This distinguished honor, the highest legislative honor bestowed by Kentucky REALTORS®, is given annually to a legislator who exemplifies dedication to promoting homeownership in the Commonwealth. Recent past recipients include Sen. Robby Mills (2024), Rep. Michael Meredith (2023), Sen. Damon Thayer (2022), and Sen. Robert Stivers (2022).
“Kentucky REALTORS® is proud to honor Senator Julie Raque Adams with the 2025 Kinman Award,” Kentucky REALTORS® President Ann Elizabeth Delahanty said. “We are grateful for all her great work to make homeownership affordable and attainable for more Kentuckians across the state. She truly embodies our mission as the voice of real estate in Kentucky.”
Named in memory of Jess and Carolyn Kinman, the award celebrates their lasting legacy of service. Jess Kinman, former Kentucky REALTORS® president and REALTOR® of the Year, was a tireless advocate for real estate professionals before his passing in 2007. His wife, Carolyn Kinman, dedicated many years of service to the Legislative Research Commission (LRC) and General Assembly, further strengthening their commitment to public service.
