FORT THOMAS, KENTUCKY, September 26, 2025 – Has your kid ever wanted to see a SWAT car up close or see how a Vac truck works?

Kids will get the opportunity to do just that at the yearly Fort Thomas Touch-A-Truck event on Sunday, October 5 from 10am to 3pm at the Fort Thomas Mess Hall. The final Flea in the Fort this year will also take place at the Tower Park Mess Hall at the same time.

Touch-A-Truck gives kids the opportunity to get up close with a variety of vehicles that they see driving around in their own communities. Explore the vehicles and talk to the individuals who drive them. Learn about what they do and how the vehicle helps with our everyday lives. Flea in the Fort is a handmade Artisan Craft show with over 70 vendors, food trucks, craft beer, and live music.

“We have a large selection of vehicles this year that will be participating in Touch-A-Truck. This is a great opportunity to see these massive vehicles in person, and the kids absolutely love it. Not only is it fun for the kids to get up into the vehicles to see them up close, but it is a great learning experience to talk to the people who drive and run them. We are very excited to have such an array of options this year.” -Tiffany Tomeo, coordinator for Touch-A-Truck.

The address for the venue is 801 Cochran Avenue, Fort Thomas, KY 41075. More information about Touch-A-Truck can be found on the Facebook event page. More information about Flea in the Fort can be found on the Facebook page.
