CINCINNATI, OH— ERICA is set to release her highly anticipated debut EP, Salty, on Friday, May 16, 2025. The six-song project is a bold and bittersweet exploration of heartbreak, self-worth, and the emotional residue abuse disguised as love can leave behind.
From the soul-stirring opener I’ll Stop Thinking About You to the simmering defiance of Don’t Call Me and the unapologetic confidence of Best Thing That You’ll Never Have, Salty tells a cohesive, cathartic story of a young woman reclaiming her voice. The title track, Salty, anchors the EP with its fun blend of elegance, ache with a dash of humor—equal parts heartbreak and empowerment anthem.
ERICA, who writes and produces all her music, blends sleek pop textures with sultry R&B vocals and raw, reflective lyricism. “This project is for anyone who’s been through a manipulative relationship and came out on the other side, not unscathed, but definitely stronger,” she says.
