The Greater Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame will hold its annual banquet on Wednesday, May 14, 2025,, at the Receptions Event Center in Fairfield.
Ten inductees will be honored for their outstanding contributions to basketball within the Greater Cincinnati community.
In addition to the inductees, the Hall of Fame will also honor the high school Player of the Year and Coach of the Year for both boys and girls basketball in both Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The Purcell Marian and Winton Woods girls basketball teams will be also be recognized for being Ohio champions in their division.
Joe Danneman, Sports Director at Fox 19, will emcee the festivities.
The 10 inductees include:
Dave Faust – long time coach at St. Henry High School with 475 wins
Beth Jones – floor general for Mason Comets, the 2000 state champions
Gabbie Marshall – two time state champion at Mt Notre Dame and U of Iowa standout
Megan McCabe – led Wyoming High School to 1996 Ohio state championship
Kevin McGuff – 1988 Ohio champs at Hamilton Badin and stellar coaching career at Xavier and Ohio State
Jill Phillips – led Princeton High School to the 2014 Ohio state championship
Alexis Rogers – led Lakota West to three state final fours, collegiate standout at Bowling Green Madison Temple – D-3 National Player of the year at Thomas More, 2016 national champions
Angelo Zolotas – 40 year career in officiating, has officiated six Ohio championships.
