Holy Cross High School is pleased to announced that, senior, Jocelyn Monson, has qualified as a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is a United States academic scholarship competition for recognition and university scholarships that began in 1955. Being a finalist means the student is among the country’s top academic achievers and makes her eligible to compete for a scholarship based on her PSAT scores, academic record and other achievements. As her certificate reads, she is destined for “high potential for future academic accomplishment.”
Monson is a member of the Y-Club (mock government), the Art Club, the Drama Club, and the Dungeons and Dragons Club. She is also the Regional Governor’s Cup Champion in Composition.
