The City of Fort Thomas is accepting applications to create an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic.
A generous salary and benefit package is offered, DOQ, plus KY Incentive pay of $4,429.00. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and have a valid KY Paramedic License at appointment and be a certified firefighter (KY Basic 1 and Basic 2) through the KY Fire Commission. All applicants will be required to complete the mandatory CPAT Physical Agility Testing. Presentation of the certification card will be required to meet the initial hiring requirement at time of hire.
Completed applications must be submitted to the City Clerk by Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 4pm. A written test to establish candidate ranking will on Thursday July 25, 2024 at 8am, at the Fort Thomas City Building. Top ten written scores will proceed to first round of interviews, held August 5 and 6, 2024.
