Friday April the 19th Dayton High School inducted its 7th Class of Outstanding Alumni and Supporters of DHS.
This year’s induction brings the total number of inductees to this Wall of Distinction to 49 members.
Inducted this year were the following: Dr. David Shepherd Class of 1960 – Administrator, Teacher, and advisor to the National Merit Scholarship program, Linda Klable Brandenburg, Class of 1963 – School support staff member, financial secretary, bus driver and supporter of all school activities for 30+ years. Adele Lamping Hanes Class of 1966 – Nurse, Medical Missionary, inventor, community service mentor, and medical innovator. Bonnie Briedwell Herzog – Teacher, Developer of AP Testing and instructor nationally for AP teacher development. Daniel Knauer Class of 1971 – Molecular Biologist, inventor, and research scientist in the field of Oncology. Mrs. Roseann Sharon – Service Award – for her 30+ years of service to the school community as a teacher, Mentor, and School Board member.
Each of these individuals has been a credit the Dayton School system and deserving of the recognition.
