As summer approaches, the Institute for Health Innovation at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) proudly announces the launch of Camp Norse, a pre-collegiate summer camp tailored to students entering grades 6-12. Camp Norse offers an unparalleled opportunity for young minds to explore in-demand careers, experience college life, and cultivate essential skills for future success. from June 17 to August 16, over 400 campers will participate in one-week themed camps, both day and overnight, immersing themselves in engaging activities designed to inspire and challenge the next generation of thinkers and leaders.
Camp Norse provides a comprehensive experience for middle and high school students, featuring:
• Engaging interactions with NKU faculty, renowned experts in their respective fields.
• Opportunities to connect with NKU students, offering insights into college life.
• Immersive hands-on activities to foster experiential learning.
• Access to dedicated camp healthcare professionals, including a nurse and mental health specialist.

Day camps, operating from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, provide participants with lunch and a snack for sustained energy throughout the day. Overnight camps offer a more immersive experience, including accommodations at Commonwealth Hall and all meals provided at Norse Commons, the campus dining hall.
Camp Norse boasts an exciting lineup of themed camps tailored to different interests and career paths. From exploring the realms of entrepreneurship and content creation to delving into the worlds of healthcare, law, and criminal justice, there’s something for every aspiring leader and innovator. Camp Norse also offers convenient optional early drop-off and aftercare services, ensuring a seamless experience for campers and their families.
