St. Vincent de Paul of Northern Kentucky, local law enforcement and the FedEx Ground Hub in Independence have partnered to collect food donations throughout Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties, according to a press release from St. Vincent de Paul.

“Once again, Northern Kentucky rallies together to support one another. It is a beautiful thing,” said St. Vincent de Paul’s Executive Director Karen Zengel in the release.

Donors may drop any of the requested items–visit St. Vincent de Paul’s website to see needed items–in the marked blue barrels at the following locations:

  • Covington Police Department at 20th Street & Madison Avenue in Covington
  • Kenton County Police Department at 11777 Madison Pike in Independence
  • Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 3000 Conrad Ln. in Burlington
  • Campbell County Sheriff’s Office at 1098 Monmouth St. in Newport and 8330 W. Main St. in Alexandria
  • Campbell County Police Department at 8774 Constable Dr. in Alexandria

In addition, St. Vincent de Paul will hold an in-person food drive event, the Joshua Palmieri Memorial Food Drive, at their thrift store in Cold Spring on Saturday, April 22 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
