The Boone County Library will present Ohio Innocence Project Policy, Legislation and Education Program Director Pierce Reed for a lecture on Wednesday, July 5, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Reed leads policy development focusing on the needs of exonerees and their families and inclusive outreach to people at risk for wrongful conviction.
The Ohio Innocence Project at Cincinnati Law was founded in 2003 and works to free the innocent; prevent wrongful convictions; and create fair, compassionate and equitable systems of justice for everyone, according to their website.
The lecture will be conducted in the Main Library’s Meeting Room A, located at 1786 Burlington Pike in Burlington. Â
