Newport Central Catholic High School is set to host its 32nd annual Family Fireworks Fest, offering attendees prime views of the Western & Southern/WEBN Labor Day Fireworks.
The event starts on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 5:30 p.m. at Newport Central Catholic High School, located at 13 Carothers Rd. It will include food trucks, drinks, and other activities leading up to the marquee fireworks show, which is scheduled to start around 9:05 p.m.
Food vendors such as Big Dog’s Pizza, Troublemakers and Tikiz are slated to appear at the event. The festival’s entry fee is $5, while children aged 6 and under can enter for free. Attendees are not permitted to bring cans, bottles or coolers.
Event organizers noted that there is only a limited supply of $10 parking passes, each securing a parking spot on the hill. The school has 25 accessible parking spaces available.
Newport Central Catholic is also offering a third-floor VIP suite at the school that can accommodate up to 75 people. The package includes five hours of access to the suite, six to eight reserved parking spaces, catering from Brick’s Catering, drinks and access to the outdoor festival.
