The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close one lane of the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge next week for repairs.
The Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, linking Covington to Cincinnati across the Ohio River, will shut down on Nov. 3 for repair work after recent bridge repairs.
The closure will be in effect 24/7 for approximately two weeks as crews work on bridge overlay and pier repairs between Fourth Street in Covington and W. Second Street in Cincinnati. Work will take place during daylight hours, and the lane closure may shift as repairs move forward.
The pedestrian path will remain open but may see brief interruptions due to moving equipment. KYTC advises motorists to use alternate routes to avoid delays. If weather conditions cause delays, the lane closure is expected to be lifted by Monday, November 17.
Updates will be posted on KYTC District 6’s social media pages and the KYTC District 6 Roadshow.
