River Road in Campbell County is still closed due to downed power lines reported this morning by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
As of 4 p.m., the road has not reopened, with no reopening time estimate.
The closure is in effect on KY 445 between South Fort Thomas Avenue and Mary Ingles Highway as crews repair multiple damaged poles and wires.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area for several hours.
