Kenton County Animal Services celebrated National Dog Walker Appreciation Day on Monday and called on the community to volunteer with the shelter.
“You are making a difference in the lives of every dog in our care,” wrote Kenton County Animal Services in a social media post. “You provide them with mental stimulation, physical exercise and (most importantly) you make them feel loved. You play a key role on their journey to finding their forever home. Thank you for your dedication.”
Anyone aged 18 or over who’s interested in becoming a volunteer can find out more at kentoncounty.org.
