Mark Collier was sworn in as Erlanger’s new city administrator at the city’s council meeting Tuesday evening.
Collier, formerly the director of economic development for Erlanger and a founding member of LINK nky, was appointed to the role last month. In the time since, he has served as assistant city administrator, working alongside former administrator Peter Glenn, who is retiring after two years of service in the role.

“Mark is such an extraordinary member of our team, a true visionary,” said Mayor Jessica Fette. “It’s pretty amazing to see [him] blossom into this role, and I know Peter was extraordinarily comfortable with [his] leadership in stepping into this role.”
Collier’s varied background includes work in journalism and finance in addition to city operations. He served a single term on Fort Thomas City Council, starting in 2019, before joining the City of Erlanger last year.
“This is a huge honor for me … I’m going to give everything I’ve got to this city and to every single employee that is here, I will do everything in my power to make this the best place to work in Northern Kentucky,” said Collier. “I love the city of Erlanger and I’m going to work my tail off.”
